When the colorful Roll & Read Project bus pulled up to elementary schools, Boys and Girls Clubs and neighborhoods this summer, children eager to access the mobile library’s generous array of books came running and climbed aboard.
Rotary Club/LEAF Help PAKRAT Expand!

Since 2011, LEAF has been supporting the Partners And Kids Reading A-lot Together (PAKRAT) program in our District 742 elementary schools. The program has been a great success, with 87% of the students reporting that PAKRAT has made them a better reader and 98% of the parents indicating they wanted the program to continue.
LEAF Receives $29,414 Otto Bremer Grant

The District 742 Local Education & Activities Foundation announced that it has received a $29,414 grant from the Otto Bremer Foundation for the purpose of supporting the District 742 Partners And Kids Reading A lot Together (PAKRAT) program.
