LEAF Grant Process:

LEAF utilizes an online grant application process. This makes the process easier and more efficient for everyone involved as well as providing an archive for Grant Applications. The Site Administrator is LEAF Vice President Peggy Carlson. Please direct all questions to her at cnpc747@tds.net . She is also willing to conduct brief onsite training sessions at your school.

Creating An Account:

The registration process has multiple steps which must be completed before you can actually access a Grant Application Form. BE AWARE using the browser’s back button will delete your registration information. After completing all the required registration information, you will be asked to create a permanent password.

Application Notes:

Once you arrive at the “Apply” page, you can access either the Academic or Activities Grant Form. Please make sure you are using the correct Grant Application Form.

Please read all instructions carefully. Especially those for #11 Administrator Email*. Entries will auto-save.

All fields with an * must be completed in order for you to submit your grant application. The Excel Budget Form has two pages. Excel Budget Page 2 is for listing supplies, you must complete both Budget pages.

Contingency Grants:

The Contingency Grant process has changed. Applicants must fill out a Contingency Grant Application Form. Contingency Grant Application Forms are now part of the FOUNDANT platform, but can only be accessed with special code. A Contingency Grant request must be for a project whose funding need arose after the most recent funding round closed and is needed prior to the subsequent funding round. The initial request must be made to LEAF Executive Director. Bruce Hentges. If the request meets the criteria for Contingency Funding, the LEAF Executive Director will forward the request to the LEAF Grant Administrator who will then provide the grantee with the appropriate access code. An administrator’s recommendation is now part of the Contingency Grant Application.
