Community Generosity Powers $27,390 in Spring Grants for District 742 Students
The LEAF 742 Education Foundation is proud to announce the successful completion of its 2026 spring grant cycle, awarding funds to enhance extracurricular (after-school) activities within District 742. Sixteen grants, totaling $27,390, were awarded to a variety of athletic teams and activity clubs across middle and high schools.
“Our spring activities grants are a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a community shows up for its students,” said LEAF 742 Executive Director Natalie Copeland. “Because of generous LEAF donors, young people across our district have access to the equipment, experiences, and opportunities that help them grow, connect, and succeed. This is what it looks like when a community truly takes care of its kids, and we’re so grateful to everyone who makes that possible.”
Through this spring grant cycle, LEAF 742 funded a wide range of projects benefiting District 742 students. One highlight is the addition of a second outdoor water station at North Junior High, addressing increased demand as more students participate in activities—made possible in part by LEAF covering all middle school activity fees this school year and next.
LEAF 742 believes every student deserves the opportunity to discover their passions, build confidence, and feel a sense of belonging. By enhancing access and opportunity for students in the St. Cloud Area School District, LEAF helps turn generosity into real experiences that shape students’ lives—both in and out of the classroom.
