LEAF 742 Helps Tech Boys Volleyball Team Get to the Game

When the Tech High School boys volleyball team earned the chance to compete in a series of away games last season, there was just one problem: getting there.

Transportation costs for away competitions can be a significant barrier for teams, especially in emerging sports like boys volleyball. That’s why LEAF 742 stepped in with a grant to help cover the cost of buses, ensuring the athletes could focus on the game—not the logistics.

LEAF 742 Activities grants like this one reflect our ongoing commitment to providing opportunities for students across all areas—academics, activities, arts, and athletics. Sports like boys volleyball not only build physical skills, but also teach teamwork, discipline, and resilience.
