Community Care for Our Refugee and Immigrant Neighbors
In moments of uncertainty, one thing has been made clear: our community shows up.
Across Central Minnesota, neighbors, nonprofits, faith communities, and volunteers are coming together to support refugee and immigrant families who call our community home. These families are our classmates, coworkers, parents, and friends. When our neighbors face barriers to food, basic needs, or stability, we choose to respond swiftly and compassionately.
Right now, local organizations are working around the clock to meet urgent needs. Whether you’re able to give financially, donate food or household items, or help spread the word, there are meaningful ways to help.
Below are several trusted organizations doing extraordinary work. If there are other groups you’d like us to share, please let us know—we’re grateful to be part of such a generous, connected community.
Financial Donations: Fast, Flexible, and Powerful
Financial contributions allow organizations to respond quickly and meet specific, time-sensitive needs. Donations of any amount make a difference.

Food Shelves & Urgent Needs
Food shelves were extremely busy last week and urgently need restocking. Monetary donations are preferred whenever possible, as they allow organizations to purchase exactly what’s needed. If donating goods, cases of items (rather than individual cans) are especially helpful for storage and sorting.
