Bus Driver Appreciation Day

Feb 23 is “Minnesota Bus Driver Appreciation Day”!   It just so happens that LEAF is recognizing our District bus drivers and transportation staff with our “Instructional Excellence” Award at our Annual Meeting and Report to the Community and as part of that award is providing coffee for our drivers and staff at the District and four contract bus carriers. Today, LEAF president, Bruce Mohs, vice president, Peggy Carlson and executive director, Bruce Hentges were at the District Services Building to thank Public School drivers and staff.  Coffee was served by Anna-Maija Lee and her staff from Community Coffee Cart.  Community Coffee Cart and LEAF will be at the other bus company facilities over the coming days to say “Thanks – Job Well Done” to those who have the great responsibility of getting our children to and from school each day.  As the sign in the picture indicates, “LEAF says Thank You to ISD 742 and contract carriers Transportation Staff and Driver”!
