Grants
At LEAF 742, we believe in empowering students, educators, and schools within District 742 by funding opportunities that inspire, support, and enhance education. Through the generous support of our community and the strength of our endowment funds, we award grants each year that help bring innovative ideas to life both inside and outside the classroom.
Two Endowment Funds, One Mission
LEAF 742 awards grants through two dedicated endowment funds:
📘 Academic Endowment Fund
Supporting creative, curriculum-enhancing academic initiatives that elevate learning across all grade levels. Past grants have funded technology upgrades, literacy programs, STEM projects, and classroom innovation.
🏅 Activities Endowment Fund
Helping students thrive through athletics, arts, and other extracurricular activities. This fund ensures all students can participate in extracurriculars regardless of financial background and supports programs that build leadership, belonging, teamwork, and school spirit.
