Learning Renaissance

Learning Renaissance

Since 2011, the LEAF Learning Renaissance has been an evening of food, wine and friendly conversation with others who support public education. It has helped raise funds in support of the LEAF academic fund as well as many special-need-projects for academic programming.

We had hoped to return to an in-person event at Café Renaissance with all of our friends and supporters, but out of an abundance of caution we have decided a virtual event is the best decision for this year. We will therefore celebrate our 11th Annual LEAF Learning Renaissance online much as we did last year. This year’s event will run from Monday, October 4 through Monday, October 18.

We respectfully ask for your continued support as a Learning Renaissance Pacesetter Sponsor! Our Fund-A-Need efforts this year will support a unique District 742/St. Cloud Rotary Club initiative that will expand preschool programming in the district.

Studies show that when students begin kindergarten behind academically, it is extremely difficult for them to catch up to their peers. This program will provide an opportunity for many additional young learners to be “school ready” when they begin kindergarten and will help to close the achievement gap.

As in previous years, a wonderful couple has donated a match grant of $10,000. This generous donation provides LEAF with an opportunity to double all funds raised and in turn double the IMPACT for the youngest learners in District 742.

Donate to our Fund-A-Need effort.
