The St. Cloud Morning Optimist Club said “thanks” to District 742 teachers by paying for a team of teachers to play in both the Apollo Golf Scramble on August 5th, and the Tech Golf Scramble on August 12th.  These golf tournaments raise funds to help the activities programs at both schools.  By supporting teachers, the Optimist Club was also supporting students and their opportunity to participate in a quality activities program.  Thanks Optimists!

Mark your calendars for the Annual St. Cloud Tech Tiger Scramble Golf Tournament & Social, sponsored by Bernick’s, to be held at the Wapicada Golf Course on Friday, August 13, 2021. This event is focused on fun and participants include former students, past and present teachers/coaches, Tech supporters and community members.

Thanks to a great group of nearly 150 golfers, generous sponsors, and a beautiful day for golf, the 2017 Tech Athletics Golf Scramble was another great success! The tournament provided a net of nearly $8,000 in direct funding for the Tech athletics program and nearly $9,000 for the LEAF Tech Athletics Legacy Fund. Mark your calendars for the Tech Tiger Scramble to be held at the Wapicad Golf Club on Friday, August 12th, 2016!  The Tech TIger Scramble is the largest single fundraising event for Tech Activities.  Current Tech athletic teams will provide unique contests on selected holes and you will have the unique opportunity to enjoy a Tech athlete as your caddie for the day.

With almost 100 years of history at St. Cloud Tech High School, it is not surprising that alumni, teachers, coaches and community members come out each summer to support Tech students during the Tiger Scramble Golf Tournament.  Celebrating the 7^th annual fundraiser on Friday, July 31st, the Tiger Scramble,  sponsored by Schluchter Financial Advisors, welcomes 150 participants who come together to show their commitment to Tech Athletics and the importance of student involvement.  This event is held at the Wapicada Golf Club and the focus for the day is very simple: support Tech students and have fun while doing it.
